2Data Collected and Purposes

Sendalo PDF is a tool that processes files entirely within the user's browser: Uploaded PDFs are never sent to Sendalo PDF servers and are not stored. The personal data we collect is limited to the technical data necessary for the website to function.

Your PDF files never leave your computer. All processing (compression, merging, conversion) takes place locally in the browser. Sendalo PDF does not have access to the content of your documents.

3Legal basis for processing

We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds provided for in Article 6 of the GDPR:

4Data Retention

Data is retained for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected:

Analytics data (Google Analytics) 14 months (GA4 default setting minimized)
Cookie preferences (localStorage) 12 months in the user’s browser
Email communications 3 years from the date of receipt, subject to legal obligations
Advertising data In accordance with Google Ads policies (max 13 months)

Upon expiration of the retention periods, the data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

5Third Parties and Transfers Outside the EU

Sendalo PDF uses the following third-party providers that may process users' personal data:

Transfers to the United States are carried out in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, as our suppliers adhere to the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, which was recognized by the European Commission as an adequacy mechanism by decision of July 10, 2023.

Data is not sold to third parties nor used for purposes other than those indicated in this policy.

6Minors

Sendalo PDF is not intended for children under the age of 16 and does not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected]: we will delete it immediately.

7 Your rights

Pursuant to Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to the data controller:
